So it's a little over a month before we set off on our much anticipated Aussie adventure. We are starting to get very excited, while refraining from planning too much more of our trip. We have booked a couple of places, at about the half way point, to ensure firstly that we don't miss them (apparently Coral Bay only has two caravan parks and we booked the last site in one of them!), and secondly that we are making good progress and won't have to drive straight past Uluru because we have run out of time!!
I am glad we did our research last year as the glossy tourist brochures made everything sound so amazing I am sure that we would have been disappointed by some places when we got there and found that it wasn't all it was cranked up to be. From all our research and from talking to others that have been there, done that, we made a list of all the places we would like to go, and are now just going to wing it, a first for me, so let's hope it all goes smoothly!!
