We left Adelaide River this morning after a rather slow pack up and arrived in Darwin soon after. We restocked, on groceries and beer!, and checked in to the Hidden Valley Tourist Park. We have a great site, even with our own ensuite! What a treat!! Actually it was the only site left, but no complaints here!! We settled in then headed into town. As it was a public holiday it was very quiet. We strolled around the waterfront before letting the kids loose in the wave pool. They had a blast. Ronan even managed to catch a few waves.
Troy and I left them there, under the intense scrutiny of lifeguards, and went to a nearby pub for a brew! The wavepool closed, so the kids had to hop out, although I think they would have happily stayed in there for hours. We found a Thai restaurant to cure our Thai craving and had a delicious dinner, before arriving back at the park for a movie screening. We watched Love Actually, then on the walk back to the caravan had to answer a few curly questions!
