Wangi Falls

Seeming to be on a never ending circuit of water falls and water holes, we made our way to Wangi falls this morning after greeting the Sydney crew who arrived in the same campground we are staying in. Wangi falls were very popular, and very picturesque! We went to the viewing platform for a pic then went and jumped in for a swim.

The water was lovely and the majority of the bottom of the waterhole was sand, so I was even able to put my feet down!! We went over to the falls and found a small pool that seemed to be spring fed as the water running into it was warm.

We could've stayed here for ages, but we got out and hiked around the falls, by far not the best hike we have done, but still a bit of exercise!! We went to the cafe for some refreshments before heading to the next stop, Cascade Falls. From its description I pictured this to be a lovely cascading little waterfall just near the car park, but instead we had to hike quite a way to the pools.

It was quite rocky and challenging, so the swim was a deserved one!!

We left here homeward bound with a quick stop at Tolmer Falls. While we couldn't swim here, as to not disturb the rare bats that live within this area, we walked to the lookout for a great view of these falls.
We arrived back at camp for a well deserved drink or two!
