Kayaks at Coral Bay

Today we decided to hire some kayaks to get a bit further out on the reef to have a look at the fish and coral out there.  We started with Troy and Ronan in one kayak and Stella and I in another.

This didn't work so well as with two lefties and a strong current, Stella and I kept heading out to sea!! So we swapped Stella and Ronan over and did a little better!! We eventually got to a buoy that the kayak people suggested to try as it was supposed to have heaps of fish nearby, and we soon found out why as right at about the same time a fish feeding boat arrived with a tour group of people to watch fish feeding! We definitely got a better view than they did!!

This afternoon we crashed someone's wedding, as they got married on the beach. 

It was a bit of a classy affair!!  This was where they signed the register!!

Tonight Troy and I decided to have date night, so left the kids to run amok in the caravan, while we went to Reef's cafe for a very delicious meal!
