Today was a driving-all-day kind of day!! We left Kurrajong and Cape Range National Park quite early, although it was yet again another beautiful day. We stopped in Exmouth for breakfast and to pick up our photo CD from 3 Islands Whale Shark tours, then hit the road. There was more flood damage evident around Exmouth but the water has rapidly receded. We had heard that the road to Tom Price was closed due to flood damage, but this was not the case, although we drove through our first flood waters. Thankfully it wasn't very deep!
We also were accompanied by some more cattle and sheep on the road.
It was such a long day of driving that I even did some!
Until the new navigator took us off course and I let him make the sharp u-turn to get us back on track!! We are staying at the Tom Price Tourist Park, which is the same park that Troy stayed in when he did his trip 30 years ago. It all looks the same apparently!!
