Troy's Day

Nomes is on holidays at the moment, super relaxed after spending a day swimming at the beach and taking the kids to see the Lego movie, so I'm having a crack at this blogging caper!

I booked myself a fishing charter, and set off early this morning with three other blokes and a guide ready to catch some big fish! The rule of the boat was that if the catch is less than half a metre it goes back in, and if it doesn't fit in the net, it doesn't come in the boat!! We left from shore and headed about 12km down the coast toward Roebuck Bay. My first catch was a little hammerhead shark.

Then I caught a nice big 1m dew fish.

I also caught a shovel nose shark that was too big to bring into the boat, so we let that one go!!

Overall I caught about 30 fish, including bull shark, salmon, trevally, dart fish, and many more. I had a great day!
